Sunstone Pendants
Composed of Sodium Calcium Aluminium Silicate and belonging to the family of plagioclase feldspar; Sunstone is an alluring gemstone which is found in a range of colours like copper, yellow, blue, red, green and transparent. With a hardness of 6 to 6.5 out of 10 on the Moh’s Scale of Hardness; this stone is taken as a gemstone due to the signature spangled appearance displayed in it when seen from different angles. A Sunstone is mined in the areas of Siberia, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Norway and North Carolina. The gem Sunstone is also known as Oregon Sunstone as it is taken as the official state gem of Oregon since 1987.
