Hessonite Pendants
Coming from the family of the mineral Nesosilicates, Hessonite is a calcium-aluminium mineral variety of a Garnet gemstone. Also known by the name of “Cinnamon Stone”, this gemstone gets its beautiful name from a Greek word” Hēssōn” which stands for “Inferior” as this gemstone has the lower hardness and density among the other Garnet varieties. With a hardness of 7 to 7.5 out of 10 on the Moh’s Scale of Hardness, this alluring gemstone is mined in the countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Siberia and South Africa.
