Citrine Pendants
Getting the name from a French word “Citron” which stands for “Lemon”, Citrine is a gemstone belonging to the family of the mineral Quartz. Found in a hue varying from yellow to brown, this is due to the presence of Iron in its composition. Known to be the birthstone of November, Citrine is mined in the countries of Myanmar, Russia, Spain, Namibia, Scotland, Argentina and Brazil. With a hardness of 7 out of 10 on the Moh’s Scale of Hardness, a Citrine is also taken as a substitute for Yellow Sapphire.
