Tourmaline Bracelets
Belonging to the family of the crystal boron silicates, Tourmaline is a lustrous or resinous gemstone which is composed of potassium, iron, aluminium, magnesium, sodium and lithium. Categorized under the semi precious gemstones, this gemstone gets its unique name from the Sinhalese word “Thoramali” or “Thurmali”. On the Moh’s Scale of Hardness, a Tourmaline gives a rating of 7 to 7.5 out of 10 which is 3/4th of a diamond. This gemstone is found in a number of splendid colours like pink, green, violet, brown and black.
